Aniimo Tier List

Which Aniimo are worth building. Every placement here is backed by the published base stats from the official Aniimo index — with the numbers shown, so you can check our reasoning and disagree with it properly.

Aniimo launched globally on September 15, 2026. There is not yet enough live PvP data to rank creatures on observed win rates, and any list claiming to do so is guessing. This tier list ranks on published base stats, role scarcity and element coverage — verifiable criteria — and shows the stat totals behind every placement. We will revise it as real match data accumulates, and the version log at the bottom records each change.

How We Ranked Them

Every Aniimo in this ranking is evaluated on four criteria. Knowing them lets you re-rank for your own account, which is usually the right thing to do — a tier list is a starting point, not a verdict.

  1. Base stat total. The sum of the six published combat stats — HP, ATK, P.DEF, M.DEF, BREAK and REGEN. This is objective, it comes from the official index, and it sets the floor of the ranking.
  2. Stat distribution. Where those points sit matters more than the total. A creature with a huge ATK and nothing else is a specialist; one with points spread across HP, defences and REGEN is a different kind of useful. Both have places, but different ones.
  3. Role scarcity. Some roles are far thinner than others. There are 35 DPS Aniimo but only 7 Heal ones. A competent healer is worth more to a team than the gap in stat totals suggests, because there is almost nothing else competing for that slot.
  4. Element coverage. An Aniimo whose element is strong into common enemy types gets used more than one whose element is strong into almost nothing. Dual-element Aniimo get credit here — there are 24 of them, and they threaten and resist more at once.
What we are not doing

We are not assigning invented win rates, and we are not copying another site's ranking. Community consensus on Aniimo's competitive balance is still forming, and a list assembled from other people's guesses would be worthless to you. Where a placement is judgement rather than measurement, we say so.

S Tier — Build These First

The four Aniimo with the highest combined base stats in the official index. These are the creatures worth spending resonance training on early, because they are the ones you will still be using at end game.

No.NameElementRoleKey statsTotal
NO.087WavwalIceBREAKHP 105 / ATK 75 / BREAK 110575

NO.067HelgonWindBREAKHP 105 / ATK 85 / BREAK 102555
NO.004InferlupaFire DarkBREAKHP 95 / ATK 89 / BREAK 113551

A few things worth noticing in that table:

  • Wavwal leads the index at 575 total, and it does it as a BREAK — Ice. A creature with that stat line in that role is the single most efficient team slot in the game.
  • Coraliz (572) is a dual-element REGENRock Water. Dual typing is a real advantage, not a cosmetic one: it changes what you resist as well as what you threaten.
  • Three of the top four are BREAK-role or dual-element. That is not a coincidence — it reflects how the index distributes its strongest stat lines.

A Tier — Strong Picks

Positions 5 through 12 by stat total. All of these are genuinely good and worth building; they sit below S because of a narrower element profile, a less scarce role, or a stat spread that is slightly less efficient.

The important caveat

A high stat total is not a verdict. Tuckin at 550 will lose to a B-tier creature with the right element in a bad matchup, and a creature with a great mobility ability can be worth more than any of these if you twine with it constantly. This ranking sorts candidates; the element chart and the Twining guide decide the rest.

The Healer Shortage

There are only 7 Heal Aniimo in the entire index, against 35 DPS options. That imbalance is the single most actionable thing on this page: any decent healer is worth catching, because almost nothing else fills the slot.

No.NameElementHPTotal
NO.089GlameepGrass WaterHP 122550
NO.016GlacyWater IceHP 118520

NO.088BubbeepGrass WaterHP 104467
NO.029FlutternymWindHP 94437
NO.014SkippyWaterHP 69332

Glameep is the standout — 550 total, the highest of any healer and high enough to rank with the S tier overall. It is dual-element (Grass/Water), which matters on the creature you most want to keep alive. Glacy (520) is the next best and a legitimate build target. Gracewing at 515 is the lowest-stat healer in the game — and still worth a slot, because there is nothing else to put there.

Best by Role

Role is separate from element, which makes it the most useful axis to compare on. The current spread across all 94 Aniimo:

RoleCountWhat that means for youTop options by stats
DPS35Very common — pick on element fit.Infergon, Shrubclaw, Gachapus
BREAK24Very common — pick on element fit.Wavwal, Helgon, Inferlupa
Support18Moderate choice available.Luminelle, Bailite, Dazmand
REGEN10Scarce — any decent option is worth catching.Coraliz, Erlath, Leafy
Heal7Scarce — any decent option is worth catching.Glameep, Glacy, Gracewing

The practical takeaway: with 7 healers you should treat any decent Heal Aniimo as a priority catch. With 35 DPS options you can afford to be picky and choose on element fit rather than grabbing the first high-ATK creature you find.

Best by Element

Element distribution is uneven too, which affects how easy it is to build a coherent team in each:

ElementCountHighest-stat Aniimo
Fire22Inferlupa, Minespine, Magmarex
Water19Coraliz, Glameep, Panpanta
Dark15Inferlupa, Rookey, Shrubclaw
Wind14Helgon, Tubster, Somniwing
Grass14Tuckin, Glameep, Pomawk
Rock13Coraliz, Minespine, Magmarex
Electric10Luminelle, Dazmand, Blazen
Ice9Wavwal, Geoclaw, Malevsera
Holy2Fennelun, Helion

Two things stand out. Holy has only 2 entries — Fennelun and Helion — and both are dual Holy/Fire, which makes them the rarest and most distinctive creatures in the game. Helion is also a confirmed starter choice, so it is the most accessible Holy Aniimo available. Water is the most populated element at 19, so you will never struggle to fill a Water slot — which makes Water the easiest element to build a team around.

What to Build First

Ignore the tiers for a moment and follow this order. It produces a working team faster than chasing S-tier creatures you cannot access yet.

  1. Push one damage dealer to its final evolution. Spreading resources across four mid-stage Aniimo leaves you with four mediocre creatures. One final-stage form beats that every time.
  2. Secure a healer. With only 7 in the game, a Heal Aniimo is the highest-leverage catch you can make. Glameep is the best, but any of them beats none.
  3. Add a BREAK option. There are 24 to choose from and BREAK is the stat that gets through defences — worth having before you meet armoured targets.
  4. Keep a fast Aniimo for traversal regardless of its tier. Mobility is not a combat stat, but it affects how fast you do everything. This is the most commonly skipped step, and Aniimo has no mounts.
  5. Then invest in a dual-element creature. With 24 to choose from, dual typing changes your matchup profile in both directions and is usually the biggest single upgrade available to a mid-game team.

FAQ

What is the best Aniimo in Aniimo?

By combined base stats, Wavwal (Ice, BREAK) has the highest total in the official index at 575. For a pure damage dealer, Infergon leads the DPS role at 536.

Is this tier list based on real data?

It is based on published base stats, role scarcity and element coverage — all verifiable numbers from the official index, shown in the tables above. It is not based on live PvP win rates, because those do not exist yet. We distinguish the two rather than presenting judgement as measurement.

How often is this updated?

Whenever there is something real to change: a balance patch, or enough accumulated match data to rank on observed performance. Every change is logged above.

Should I follow the tier list or pick what I like?

Pick what fits your team, then check the list. A lower-tier Aniimo in the right element beats a higher-tier one in the wrong matchup, and you will play better with a creature you enjoy using.

Why do healers rank so highly?

Because there are only 7 of them. A role that scarce means even a modest healer fills a slot nothing else can. Glameep happens to have genuinely S-tier stats as well, at 550.

Does Twining change how I should read this list?

Yes, meaningfully. Twining uses the creature's skills, element, mobility and trait, so an Aniimo with a strong mobility ability can be more valuable than a higher-stat creature you never twine with. See the Twining Guide.
